Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

ALF Services is a worker-owned, community-accountable technology collective. We are committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who uses our tools — especially those doing organizing work that puts them at risk. This policy explains what we collect, what we don't, and why.

What We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate our services:

  • —Contact information you provide when requesting access or reaching out (name, email, organization)
  • —Basic server logs (IP addresses, access timestamps) retained for no more than 30 days
  • —Information you enter into our member tools (facility searches, resource uploads)

What We Do Not Collect

  • —We do not use third-party tracking scripts or analytics services
  • —We do not sell, share, or rent your data to anyone
  • —We do not use cookies beyond what is strictly necessary for session management
  • —We do not comply with law enforcement data requests without a valid, specific court order — and we will notify affected users when legally permitted to do so

How We Store Your Data

All data is stored on servers we control. We use encryption at rest and in transit. Member credentials are hashed and never stored in plaintext. We do not use cloud platforms controlled by corporations that have contracts with law enforcement or immigration agencies.

Your Rights

You can request a copy of any data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it at any time. Contact us at connect@alfservices.net.

Changes to This Policy

If we make significant changes to this policy, we will notify members directly via email before those changes take effect.
